Growing plants is a personal passion of mine. Living in an urban jungle can feel stressful at times and that’s where the tropical plants come in. Bringing nature indoors creates a peaceful oasis and helps me slow down even when the outside world is racing by.

I collect plants that are striking, elegant, or interesting in their shape, form, or growth pattern. This naturally led me to aroids which are most prevalent in my collection. I love anthuriums for their magnificent leaves, philodendrons for their growth pattern, alocasias for their elegance, and sansevierias for their sculptural looks.

I started this blog as a way to share my knowledge and experience with others who share my passion for tropical plants. When I first got into plant care, I struggled to find reliable information online about how to care for my aroids. I spent countless hours reading forums, watching YouTube videos, and experimenting with different techniques, but I often felt like I was flying blind.
